Lone Druid

again i apologize for the lateness of this post, but i wanted to wait due to all the awesomeness. for this post i will introduce lone druid!

this hero is two in one.
his first ability is called summon spirit bear. big surprise it summons a bear... that's WAY TO OVER POWERED! at level 4, it has 2700 hit points, a return ability to teleport the bear anywhere to lone druid, 20% to entangle or immobilize a unit, 33% spell resistance, and demolish which adds extra damage when attacking buildings. gosh darned it, why is this a single hero again? oh yeah to piss all of us with crappy micro off.

his second ability is called rabid. yeah all that above was just his darned bear O.o
this ability at level four lasts 10 seconds and affects both lone druid and his bear. it increases attack speed by 40% and movement speed by 20%. the cool part about this is the mana cost... which is 50 so i see something that is very spamable

his third ability is synergy. this passive ability at level 4 adds 40 damage and move speed to your already god-like bear and increases the rabid duration by 40 seconds AND gives your true form 400 more hit points

his ultimate is called true form. at level three it transforms lone druid into a melee character with 600 bonus health (not including maxed synergy), 8 armor, and battle cry. so as if he is not full of abilities already, battle cry makes the lone druid and the bear basically invincible by adding 60 damage and 6 armor.

Y U NO NERF THIS HERO! he is so over powered. without any items lone druid and his bear have 14 base armor plus 100 damage and plus 1000 hit points that's three more armor than dragon knight and way more HP than anyone else. 

in my honest opinion this hero is broken. but still should make for good games. on a final note i want to congratulate all those winners of the JointDota chapmionships tournaments. i also want to direct you guys to dota2.com for the picture of this hero and dotacinema.com for the latest guide and intro by my man Sunsfan.

Lycan

SUP SUP PEOPLE!

today we will be talking about some awesome new things going on in the dota 2 world!
lets start with our new hero release LYCAN!!!!

this hero is a beast and virtually unkillable in later stages of the game.
he is a dire strength hero used to either initiate or tank lots of damage and deal it right back.

his first ability is called summon wolves... ill give you a guess as to what it does... but hey at level 4 these wolves become totally wicked! they last 55 seconds have a ton of health have critical strike AND go invisible after one second of not doing anything.

his second ability is called howl. this is a global buff that at level four when cast will give all allied heros and units you control +50 damage. with a 35 second cool down and 30 mana cost i see a spamable skill here :)

his third skill is a passive that at level four will increase anyone in a 900 aoe attack damage and attack speed by 30%. WOOOOOHHHHHAAAA do you mean to tell me that he can summon 2 wolves that will have +50 damage +30% more damage +30% movespeed AND HAVE A CRIT

now his ultimate is called shapeshift. this is why this hero is broken if left unattended for too long. at level three this will turn your hero into a wolf for 18 seconds. this wolf will have MAX move speed, critical strike, oh yeah and +300 HP. now guess what the mana cost is... a measly 100. oh and the cool down? 40 SECONDS!

not only can this hero jungle, he can tank, he can gank, he can out run, and he can kill anything in his path. the Lycan is one heck of a great hero.

next on my list is a big shout out to all the teams that participated in the first JoinDota Allstars tournament it was amazing! congratulations to EG for winning it all, but in the long run a record for Dota 2 was broken. EG faced off against Mouz in a 1 hour 23 minute game that was so epic and so intense it left the caster (tobi wan) in need of a few drinks after. please go to the joindota.com website and watch the VOD for it, it will be AMAZING.

lastly i want to send you to dota2.com to view the entire change log for this release i hear they are adopting 6.74 so awesome stuff there. i also want to send you to dotacinema.com where they have a preview for lycan already and my man sunsfan does an awesome job at giving previews.

Shadow Demon

ok all as you know the newest released hero is Shadow Demon. this is a hero banned or played in every competitive game because of his ganking potential and ability to dominate carries. HE IS THE ANTI-CARRY! go to google images for picture details.

anyway, lets discuss his skills
his first skill is disruption - this skill banishes a target for 2.5 seconds at all levels and then summons two images of the target upon its return. the images do 60% damage and take 150% damage and last 8 seconds at level 4. OP much...

his second skill is called soul catcher. this ability is one that allows one random (or not so random depending on where you cast it) unit to take an extra 50% damage at level 4 for 12 seconds. AGAIN TOTALLY OVER POWERED.

his third skill is named shadow poison. this ability has a 3 second cool down, costs 50 mana, and every time it hits the same enemy will exponentially grow in damage up to 4 hits then add 50 damage every other time it hits. so far this hero has spam, damage amplification, and stun... TEH F*** IS THIS C***.

his ultimate is called demonic purge. at level 3 this spell costs 200 mana, lasts 5 seconds, does 400 damage, slows an enemy, and disrupts their healing ability. IceFrog really went all out to create a broken hero. i mean come on he is just as bad as invoker with his over 9000 spells.

Hey all i apologize for the length of time it took to get this up, but for this post we will look into what Dota 2 heros are already out

lets start with the radiant formally known as the sentinel
as you know there are three categories of heros strength (for the tankiness) intelligence (for the heal or cheap kills) and agility (for the carry)

radient strength heros
alchemist, beastmaster, clockwerk goblin, dragon knight, earth shaker, Huskar, kunkka, omniknight, sven, and tiny. what a list gotta love the DK and Huskar some of my fav heros.

radient agility heros
Anti-mage, bounty hunter, drow ranger, juggernaut, mirana (or potm), morphling, rikimaru, sniper, ursa, and vengeful spirit. sniper by far has to be the best imo out of this list.

radient intelligence
Chen the holy knight, crystal maiden, enchantress, jakiro (or thd), lina, prophet, puck, shadow shaman, silencer, storm spirit, tinker, windrunner, and zeus. im not a fan of intel heros so you all can think what you want about this list :).

NO PEPARE FOR ALL THE DIRE (OR THE SCOURGE AS THEY WERE KNOWN)

dire strength
axe, doom bringer, life stealer, night stalker, pudge, sandking (SK), skeleton king (SK), slardar, spirit breaker, tide hunter. BOTH SK'S ARE MY AWESOME FAVORITES

dire agility
blood seeker, brood mother, clinks, razor, shadow fiend, spectre, venomancer, viper, faceless void, weaver. i dont know why people use venomancer for his wards now days, his DOT attacks are sooooo much better.

dire intelligence
ancient apparition, bane elemental, bat rider, dark seer, dazzel, death prophet, enigma, invoker, leshrac, lich, lion, necrolyte, outworld destroyer, pugna, queen of pain, warlock, witch doctor. i lied a little bit before, i do love bane to death and am a killer support with witch doctor.

as you can see there are 70 playable heros right now. of the 30 or so remaining, its up to valve to decide which to release next. have fun.

About Me

OK guys this section is basically why you should care about me at all. lets be honest i know you really don't but i think you can survive at least a few minutes reading my bio.

in the beginning there was a sperm and and egg.... maybe thats too far.... meh lets just role with it. after nine months i was born you get the picture. nice family nice upbringing except for some reason i have very terrible handwriting (yes that was a class i had to take all the way up until middle school) and was continually grounded for the C in that class.

move ahead a few years and i'm in middle school. interesting fact: people pick not just on the dorky kids but also those who ask too many questions in class, i didn't know that. but yes every day was basically i wake up in the morning pray i make it through the day get home and then do homework.

now i'm in high school, there are only a few things you need to know because like i think you already know it stinks

1. i did track and cross country for 4 straight years

2. i did debate for my last 2 years

3. GIRLS BITE AND HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY WANT

4. about this time is when i started playing DotA

at present i am a student at weber state university. i am a civic advocacy major and psychology minor. according to the 10,000 hour rule i am now an expert in DotA. i am also on the best community driven debate team in Utah (big shout out to Dr. Guevara). 

this brings me to what i will be posting about. DotA 2 is coming out soon and i feel that the posts on their primary website dota2.com is no good. i will be adding personal commentary and such as to personalize more on new hero releases and updates to the beta.
